Wikipedia states that Organic Architecture is "The idea of organic architecture refers not only to the buildings' literal relationship to the natural surroundings, but how the buildings' design is carefully thought about as if it were a unified organism." and "...organic architecture is also the literal design of every element of a building: From the windows, to the floors, to the individual chairs intended to fill the space. Everything relates to one another, reflecting the symbiotic ordering systems of nature."

Rammed earth
Following (in no particular order) are links to the web sites related to the use of rammed earth:

SIREWALL

EARTH DWELL LTD

One area of architectural design and sustainable material use that interests me is stabilized insulated rammed earth. In 2007, I attended a class on building with insulated rammed earth at Sirewall in Canada. It would be fun to design and build a project using stabilized insulated rammed earth.

Revit ® Architecture how-to documents
Following (in no particular order) are links to my Revit ® Architecture how-to documents and presentations featuring step-by-step instructions on creating a few Revit ® families:

Designing your own path to proficiency in Revit

Creating artwork with frames for the walls in your model

Creating mitered-corner windows

Creating a photo-realistic (rammed earth) material

Creating skylights

Over the years, custom Revit ® Architecture families needed to be created for use within my projects but complete step-by-step instructions on how to create the specific type of families listed here have not been adequately documented within most of the various 3rd-party Revit ® Architecture books within my library.

I presented a talk "Designing your own path to proficiency in Revit" to the South Coast Revit Users Group on Thursday February 28, 2013 at the offices of LPA in Irvine, CA.
